Czarina began in 1986 with a simple dream from its award-winning founder, Sheila James. What started as a passion for beautiful textiles and handcrafted fashion slowly grew into a boutique loved by generations of women. The first designs were sold through a friend’s small shop, and soon demand began to rise as word spread about the quality, color and craftsmanship of each piece. That early beginning led to the opening of the first Czarina store in Trivandrum, a space that quickly became known for artistry, warmth and personal styling.

From the very beginning, Czarina has believed that clothing is more than fabric. It is a reflection of identity, culture and celebration. Over the years we have built relationships with skilled weavers and artisans across India. Each saree is the result of collaboration, technique and heritage. From rich silks to modern fabrics, from classic motifs to contemporary palettes, Czarina has always honored the timeless beauty of Indian tradition.

Four decades of serving women who grace our collections for weddings, festivals, office wear, family gatherings and the quiet everyday moments that matter just as much. We have seen mothers return with daughters. We have witnessed sarees bought for special occasions transform into treasured heirlooms. These stories inspire us every day.
